Holy Spirit

The source wasn’t the leaders; the source was God.

Pentecost still matters because without the Holy Spirit’s presence and power, we reduce the gospel to a future hope and miss the present reality of God’s kingdom, Christ’s life in us today.

If we are witnesses of Jesus Christ, then we do not get to edit the message.

When we set time apart in our schedule to meet with the Lord, he shows up, he gives us special instruction, and he gives us direction, even when it’s uncomfortable.

When the power of the Lord is present, that means Holy Spirit is doing the work.

That statement from heaven is a warning to our mouths and our hearts.

Will you object, or will you embrace the gift Jesus wants to pour out according to Acts 2:33?

The real gap is our faith in God’s ability to work through us like he did through Jesus.
