“But now you have been united with Christ Jesus. Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to him through the blood of Christ.”
Ephesians 2:13 (NLT)
“What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. O, precious is the flow that makes me white as snow.”
We are saved by grace through faith—but we often forget that grace alone wasn’t enough to unite us with Christ. Without the blood, we would still be separated. Grace describes what happened. The blood was how it happened. No blood, no grace.
The blood of Jesus didn’t just save us from hell—it seated us with Christ (Ephesians 2:6). We are united with Him through the blood. To be united means not divided—joined together in identity, purpose, and destiny. The blood removed the separation.
Our faith in Jesus connects us to His goals, His values, and His identity. We are now one. There isn’t my plan and Jesus’ plan for my life. There is only one plan: God’s plan.
Jesus died once, but His blood STILL flows. What a miracle! We serve a God of MORE than enough. The blood isn’t running out. So, apply it if you need to. Let’s act like we are united with Jesus today!
