What does your life smell like?
In this message, I explore how Scripture uses the sense of smell to show what happens when we spend time with Jesus. Just as smoke clings to your clothes after standing near a grill, the presence of Christ should leave its mark on us. Through our words, love, worship, and good works, our lives can carry the aroma of His victory everywhere we go.
Drawing from 2 Corinthians 2:14–17 and other passages, we see that Jesus washes away the stench of sin, makes us new, and turns our lives into a pleasing offering to God. His presence should also awaken a hunger in us—for worship, for His Word, and for Jesus Himself, the Bread of Life.
The question is not simply whether people know we are Christians. It is whether being around us gives them a glimpse of Jesus and invites them to draw closer to Him.
